Paperless Post pricing: what it costs, and when another option works out cheaper
Paperless Post charges per guest, depending on the design. That makes sense for a beautiful wedding invitation, less so for a 60-person party. Here are the official prices we checked, and the maths.
How much does Paperless Post cost?
According to its official pricing page, checked on 23 October 2026, Paperless Post costs $0.50 to $1.44 per guest, depending on the design. For 30 guests in Premium, that's $31.50.
So the price climbs with your guest count. For a dinner for 12, the difference is small; for a big party or a wedding, it adds up.
How does per-guest pricing compare with per-event pricing?
A per-guest price goes up with every name you add; a per-event price stays flat up to the cap. Invitotte charges per event: €9.90 up to 150 guests, €29.90 up to 500.
| Guests | Paperless Post ($0.50 to $1.44 per guest) | Invitotte |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | depends on the design | free |
| 30 | $31.50 in Premium (official example) | €9.90 once (Invitotte+) |
| 150 | per guest, depending on the design | €9.90 once (Invitotte+) |
| 500 | per guest, depending on the design | €29.90 once (Big event) |
Where is Paperless Post better?
Premium designs, especially for weddings. Its cards are more polished than our 12 themes, and that's a genuine reason to pay more.
If the invitation itself is something you want to treasure, Paperless Post can be worth it. If what you mainly need is to know who's coming, with meal choices and rooms, an RSVP tool does the job.
What does Invitotte offer for the same use?
A customisable card (theme, colour, font, emoji, photo) and full RSVP tracking: yes, no, maybe, plus-ones, questions, deadline, export. For a wedding, Big event adds your monogram and a 3,000-photo album.
A mix works well: a beautiful invitation (paper or digital) for the announcement, and the Invitotte link for replies. See digital wedding invitations and the wedding guest list template.
How do you choose?
If design comes first and the list is short, Paperless Post. If the list is long or you mainly want to manage replies, a per-event price is easier to budget for.
More tools are compared in the best free online invitation with RSVP and an Evite alternative.
How do you estimate your invitation budget?
With per-guest pricing, multiply your guest count by the price of the design you choose. With per-event pricing, just check which tier your list falls into.
Do the maths with your real list, plus-ones included, and check the exact design price on Paperless Post's site when you order. On the Invitotte side, the price doesn't move with replies: €9.90 up to 150 guests, €29.90 up to 500.
Can you combine a Paperless Post invitation with Invitotte?
Yes, if you want one's design and the other's RSVP tracking. Add your Invitotte invitation link to your card, or use your design as the photo on the Invitotte card.
Guests then reply in one place, with your questions about meals or rooms, and you export everything for the caterer. It's a common setup for weddings: the beautiful card announces, the link counts.
